Sumikko Gurashi (すみっコぐらし), roughly "life in the corner," is a set of characters created by Japanese company San-X in 2012. The characters, such as Shirokuma (a polar bear who gets cold), Penguin? (who isn't sure he's a penguin), Neko (a shy cat) and Tonkatsu (a pork cutlet who's mostly fat), all like to sit in corners.
