Collectible Plushies for Teens & Adults

Plush collecting is a hobby for all ages. Collectors often choose a theme, such as a character family, food plush or one favorite animal, and display their plush on shelves or in cubes. This category brings together designs that look as good on display as they feel to hug.

Collector favorites

• The Japanese Animation Giant Totoro Plush and the Sumikko Gurashi Plush Large (see our Sumikko Gurashi characters).
• Food plush such as the 8 Inches Kawaii Bao Plush.
• Fantasy and wild animals like the Kawaii Dragon Stuffed Animal and Giant Wolf Plush.

Displaying and caring for a collection

Keep plush out of strong direct sunlight to stop colors fading, dust regularly with a soft brush or lint roller, and store spares in breathable bags rather than sealed plastic. Our plush toy storage range has shelves and bins, and our guides cover looking after a plush collection and displaying an anime plush collection.

Character plush on our site is not official merchandise of, or affiliated with, the original rights holders.

Collecting on a budget

Start small: choose one theme and add a plush each month or for special occasions. Smaller sizes of the same design often cost less and take up less shelf space, so they are a good way to grow a themed collection. Keep a note of which designs and sizes you already own so you don't buy duplicates.
