Fairy kei (フェアリー系, "fairy style") is a Japanese street fashion that took off in Tokyo's Harajuku and Koenji areas in the 2000s. It is known for soft pastel colors and motifs inspired by 1980s Western toys and cartoons, worn with lots of cute accessories.

How to style fairy kei

Mix pastel pink, lavender, mint and baby blue; layer a sweatshirt over a tulle skirt; and add hair clips, bows, a pastel wig and a plush backpack.

Getting the size right

Many of our clothing items use Asian sizing, which often runs smaller than US, UK, EU and Australian sizes, and some listings give sizes by body weight (for example, M for 45 to 55 kg).
